Steal a Player: Team chooses a student from the other team to now "be" on their team. That student doesn't switch seats, But will be on the opposite team and accrue points for that team from that point on.
*Teacher can write the name of the students on the board next to that team to keep track.
Students Roll the dice to move their playing piece around the board.
Games:
Arrow to Head Catch Kill: Students stand in a circle around the teacher. The teacher throws a ball lightly, underhand, towards the head of each student. Before the teacher throws the ball, He/She will say either Head/ Catch/ or Kill… If the teacher says Head the student must Catch the ball. (If the student Heads the ball the student is "OUT") If the Teacher says Catch the student must Head the ball. (If the student Catches the ball the student is "OUT") If the Teacher says Kill the student must "Duck" (squatting down) the students on the right and left of the "Ducking" student must try to catch the ball. If a student can catch the ball, the opposing student is out. (If the student on the right catches the ball, the student on the left is "OUT" and vice versa)
*The first time this game is played, (OR with younger students) it is best just to play "HEAD" "CATCH", and not do the "Kill" part. If students find it too easy, then you can add the "KILL".
*If it is too easy, the "No Look Pass" is a quick way to speed the game up. (Not looking at the student that you will throw the ball to)
Picture of Ball with "Head": Choose 2 students from each team to race to pick up a ball from the floor to a standing position, only using their heads.
Picture of Ball with "Bottom": Choose 2 students from each team to race to pick up a ball from the floor to a standing position, only using their bottoms.
Hot Seat: Student sits in a "Hot Seat" in front of the Class. If the student can answer 3-5 questions from other students correctly, then they may steal all the points from the other team.
*Allow both teams to ask Questions. Tell the Opposing team to ask difficult questions, and the same team to ask easy questions.
*Questions, and answers must be asked perfectly. If a questions is not perfect, correct it, have the class repeat it, then ask someone else to ask a question. If an answer is not perfect, then the student loses, and the "Hot Seat" Game is over.
