Balloon Bash
Required: Balloons, Dice
Icons:
Star: Starting Position or Choose a Space
2 Stick Figures with Arrows: 2 Children Switch Teams
Points with Arrows: Teams Switch Points
Soccer Ball: Balloon Juggling Game
Balloon: Balloon Bash Game
Students roll the dice to move the playing piece around the board.
Games:
Balloon Juggling: Depending on the age of children you can make up different levels of difficulty for this. Winner is awarded 10 points.
A.) Easy- One student from each team gets a try to juggle the balloon like a soccer ball for as many touches as possible. The student that can keep the balloon up for the most touches wins. (or both start at the same time with 2 balloons, the first balloon to touch the ground loses)
B.) Medium- One student from each team juggles as in version A, but they may only use one body part. (Head, knees, left foot...)
C.) Difficult- 2 students from each team must juggle back and forth using one body part (head). The team that gets the most touches, or (if playing with 2 balloons at the same time) keeps the balloon up the longest wins.
Balloon Bash: 2 students from each team play against each other to try to hit the balloon using their hands into the opposing teams wall. Walls on either side of the room are designated "Goals". The students playing can run around wherever they want in a safe manner, hitting the balloon towards the opposing teams "wall goal". When the balloon hits a "wall goal" the game stops, the winners are awarded 10 points, and 4 more children are chosen to play 2vs2.
*Obviously this game is pretty crazy so it must be played safely. Depending on class age and size this game can be played with different amounts of students. Younger kids maybe team vs. team. Older bigger children maybe less students at a time. Very crazy physical students maybe 1vs1 or not allowed to play.
*Can also tape up specific areas of the wall to make goals if need be.
