Warm Up
Numbers: Jump On "6"
Students stand up and count from 1 to ... 100 repeating after the teacher. But on numbers that possess "6" students are quiet and JUMP instead. Award points to the team that does it the best as you go along.
Teacher says 1, students say 1, T-2 S-2, T-3 S-3, T-4 S-4, T-5 S-5, T-6 Students are silent and JUMP!... 16, 26, 36, 46, 56, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 76, 86, 96...Jump on 6's...

Teacher goes around the room pointing at objects and saying simple sentences with students repeating...

If the teacher makes a mistake... Pointing to the TV but saying "It is a banana." students must clap their hands. The fastest student to clap and correct the teacher wins a point.
Vocabulary
Step 1: I say You Say (Phonics, Actions, or Translation)
Actions: Introduce Each word sounding out each letter, or syllable slowly. Repeat 3,4 times getting faster and faster. Then call on a few students to create an action for the new word. The student that creates the best action wins a point. Have a few students from each team get a chance, and the best one is now the official action for that word.
After each word has been spoken 3,4 times, and all words have an action move on to step 2.
*Translate if needed
Step 2: I say You say with a mistake
Go through flashcards using actions with each flashcard. If the teacher does the wrong action students must sit on the floor. The fastest team to sit on the floor is the winner. Award points.
Step 3: Students Speak
Have all students sit on the floor. When the Teacher shows the flashcard, the first student to shout out the correct word wins and sits in their chair. Continue until all students are sitting in their chairs. Any Flashcards that are difficult, Say and have students repeat with you to continue learning.
Grammar:

Translation: Race to Translate 5 Sentences
Teacher says a sentence using the new grammar, Students all repeat after the teacher and doing actions. Have the Teaching assistant Translate the first 3 sentences. After this Call on students to translate the sentence after the class repeats. The team that translates 5 sentences first is the winner.
Step 2: I say You say with a mistake
7 Point Mistake Game
The Teacher will say sentences using the new Grammar with students all repeating, but every few sentences the Teacher will make a grammatical error. When a mistake is made students must be quiet and not make a sound. The Best team wins a point. After 7 mistakes, and 7 points have been awarded , the drill is complete. As the drill goes on be more strict, on silence to make the game more fun!
Step 3: Students Speak
Time Challenge
Set a Timer on the TV. (1-2 minutes) Each student must make a sentence using the new grammar correctly before the time runs out. If a student makes a mistake, move to the next student, but be sure to go back to the students that made errors. Have students stand up, If their sentence is correct they can sit down. When all students are seated they have won... If they beat the Clock!
Question and Answer
Step 1: I say You say (Actions, Phonics, or Translation)
Translation: Have Students repeat the Question and Answer after the Teacher with the Teaching assistant Translating afterwards. After a few examples from the teaching assistant, Call on students to translate the Questions, or Answers. If the student is correct they may Roll the Dice. Write the number on the board for each team as they roll after each translation. 1 Student translates, He/She rolls once. The team to roll over 21 first is the winner.
Step 2: I say You say Mistake
Have students Stand Behind a line on the floor of the classroom. Students repeat Questions and Answers after the Teacher. If the Teacher says an Incorrect Answers, Students must jump over the line. The fastest team wins a point.
Step 3: Students Answer
Have All Students stand up. Each student must answer 1 question correctly. When the student answers correctly they may sit down. If a student makes a mistake, all students stand up again. The drill ends when all students have answered correctly and are seated.
Phonics
Step 1: I say You say
Write the phonics words on the board. The Teacher will sound out the word, with students repeating, then the teacher will say the word with students repeating. (Teacher: S-N-AAAA-KE... Students: S-N-AAAA-KE... Teacher: Snake... Students: Snake)
Then Call on a student to find the word on the board. If correct, award a point to that student.
Step 2: I say You say Mistake
Write the phonics words on the board. The teacher will point to the words as he/she sounds out the word slowly and repeats quickly with students repeating. (Teacher: S-N-AAAA-KE... Students: S-N-AAAA-KE... Teacher: Snake... Students: Snake) When the Teacher makes a mistake students must stand up. The fastest Student can shoot a basketball to try and win 3 points for their team.
Step 3: Students say
Each student must sound out, and say 3 words on the board. When all have said 3 words correctly the drill is finished.
Review Flashcards
Every 7-10 Flashcards, ask a question concerning that flashcard. Call on a student to answer. If they are correct they can Roll the dice. The number rolled is the amount of points they may steal from the other team.
