Mine Field: All Students must walk/jump across the 6X6 grid on the floor one at a time. If they step on a bomb from the teacher’s answer sheet they are dead. If they get across the “Mine Field” safely they are awarded 5 points.
*I made sure students tip toed across the field, where if I saw them slightly step into a square that had a mine they were dead. (this made it more difficult and fun) *I had one answer sheet that I used for a week, where I just turned it every time a student went across so that it was always changing and new. **For Older classes I had all students sitting facing away from the grid so that they could not see the players walking through the grid and get any hints of where bombs might be. |
