Star: Starting position and Choose any spot
1 Cup: Crazy Pong Game
2 Cups: Crazy Pong Game
30 Seconds: Crazy Pong Game
Arrow + or person (Green): Switch team players (one from each team) or switch team points
+- Cup: Add a cup to other team, or take away one cup from your own team
Set up 3 or 4 cups filled with water against the wall in front of each team. Teams will try to shoot ping pong balls from behind a line into the cups. When a shot goes into a cup the cup is then taken away. If a ball bounces into a cup 2 cups are taken away. The first team to get rid of all their cups is the winner. It is possible to complete this game many times. Each game can be worth double the amount of points. (Ex. First game 25 points. Second game 50 points. Third game 100 points...)
Games:
1 Cup: Student that lands on the spot gets to shoot 2 ping pong balls to try to eliminate cups.
2 Cups (Bounce): Student that lands on the spot gets to try to bounce 2 ping pong balls to try to eliminate cups. If a bounce goes into a cup 2 cups are taken away.
30 Seconds: Each team makes a line in front of the cups. (behind the designated shooting line) Each line gets one ping pong ball. Students will get 30 seconds to shoot as many times as they can. As they are in a line the first student will shoot, then get the ball, give the ball to the next student then go to the end of the line. (As students get excited they may go over the line, if possible have one teacher watch one team and the TA watch the other team.)
*If you feel it is too slow you can have more that one student play 1 Cup and 2 Cups (Bounce) Games.
* Each game cups can be set up in different patterns from easy to difficult.
* If a cup of water is spilled then stop game for 10 minutes and have student clean up. (or discipline action appropriate for how it happened)
* Make sure cups are appropriate in size (i used 8 plastic cups that were a few RMB each)
